MULTIMEDIA

In my opinion, a watershed moment in Television series creation was accomplished in September of 1993 when the X-Files premeired. I enjoyed the show so much I even wrote up a script of fan-fiction. Even though the series is over after five superior and four average years, I still hold hope that my fanfiction script will somehow be read by Chris Carter, the creator of the series, and that an episode based on it will be produced.

In addition to the script, I've made artwork and a desktop theme based on the show. Head over to my personal X-Files website and check out all the goods. And if you know Chris Carter, forward the link to him and let him know. After all, perhaps the X-files can be brought back as long as good writing and stories are key.

In the beginning, the X-files seemed to be perhaps THE most popular series ever. Most of the episodes of the beginning seasons were almost painfully good - and can be watched many times without getting stale. Many have often wondered, if the X-Files was such a good series, why did it ultimately fail? Being a fan with plenty of time to ponder, I have written up what I think is a definitive treatise on why the X-Files steadily lost popularity after the fifth season until it was finally cancelled for low ratings.
