Who am I?

My name is Gregory Alan Helmerick. This site serves two purposes. First, I am a fledgling photographer. The photography section of the site includes some of my best work. Check it out to see my unique visual take on the world.

Second, I am a fledgling writer. The writings section of the site includes some of my best writings, from poetry to magazine articles to college projects to trip reports. If you are an employer and would like to see some of my work, feel free to browse through this section. Then again, if you are a fan of writing, you're also welcome to browse through the writings section.

This site arose out of a web design class in college, but I hope to use it to demonstrate my web design abilities to potential employers. All of the images, content, behaviors, pages, and writings are my own. This site is wholly unique and original to my catalog and who I am.

To the left, you will notice I've included some of my favorite links. What better way to learn a little about who I am than by showing some of my tastes in websites?

Of course, another good indicator of who I am is the music I love, and following is a link to what I consider to be the greatest song ever written--Orange Sky by Alexi Murdoch. I know that's a strong statement, but listen to this song while driving through the elysian green grass meadows and ethereal alpine peaks of Colorado's Rocky Mountains, and you just may understand what I'm talking about.
