Welcome to my online writing and media portfolio. I have selected certain pieces that highlight my varied writing and multimedia skills. Over the course of my college studies and life experiences, I have matured and expanded as a writer, and I have taught myself a great deal about MS Word, FrontPage, Excel, and PowerPoint. Projects that once intimidated me I now view as exciting challenges that add to my overall mastery of my writing and presentation skills. Each piece that I've chosen to include in this portfolio demonstrates my strong ability to write to an audience--making my thoughts, the concepts behind the piece, and my intentions clear and comprehensible for both the general public as well as more specialized subsets of the public. Certainly one of my biggest strengths is that of audience awareness. I have always been able to take difficult or specialized concepts and make them accessible and understandable for a general audience. This talent has translated over into my creative non-fiction, as demonstrated in my "Magazine Articles."
