built to simplify
construction by avoiding complex
or impossible fretting schemes. The Lambdoma guitar
is tuned H 1-4,
the subharmonic
guitar, then some excurisions into equal temperaments
, first a 5 & 7 equal guitar to accompany
improvisations in the gamelan and balafon, and second an ‘inharmonic guitar’ with markings
for the
9,
11, and 23 equal scales.
