SHOWER GIVEN TO US AT WORK MAY 13TH 2004


Dawn planned a baby shower for me at work. We had it during my lunch hour. They set up an area of the cafeteria and decorated it all up for me. Randy came after work to join us. We didn't have a lot of time, so it was a bit rushed, but still very fun. We got so many great things. Dawn took up a collection from the team we work on and went and bought some group gifts off of the baby registry. Here is what we received.


Randy loves this one; he was very excited to open this!

Next my team gave us this, a very handy thing to have

Then they bought us the baby monitors. This is so handy, they really did so much for us!

Dawn and Lavena gave us the ear thermometer. This is a must have!

My friend Trish gave us this cute little guy, he is so soft.

Lenny gave us this adorable frame and wrist rattle

Elizabeth gave us this great frame and she also gave me a bottle of lotion, its already in use so its not pictured!

Patty gave us this book, Randy has already skimmed through it

We also received some incredible hand made items. I just have some very creative women that I work with

My supervisor Amber made this for us, it is so soft!

My friend Teresa made this blanket while talking to tax payers on the phone. I'm not sure she knew at the time but the colors match the baby room perfectly!

My friend Laurie did way too much. She started with this basket and filled it, just look at some of these incredible things!

She started with some of the basics.

Then she made these cute burp cloths, I almost hate to get them soiled, but i suppose thats what they are for!

And then this blanket that goes perfect with our pond theme.

She also made us a blanket while talking to taxpayers on the phone. These are such great colors.

She didn't know if we were having a girl or a boy so she made us two of the cutest outfits, I just love these both







And she made booties to match.

Everything was just so great. Randy packed everything up and I went back to work. When I got back to my desk there was all this baby confetti all over my desk. I couldn't wait to get home and re-look through everything.
