Whats happening with baby this week:
January 8th 2004 - January 14th

At 12cm crown to rump, or a total length of about 6 1/2 inches, your baby is large enough to give you a good swift kick in the tummy. Within the next month, you should be able to feel this five-ounce wonder throwing his or her weight around. At this time, fat deposits will appear under the baby's skin. This fat will help your baby to regulate his or her temperature after birth. The tiny heart is pumping as much as 25 quarts of blood a day! The reflexes are probably in place now as the baby sucks, swallows and blinks.

Whats happening with mommy this week:

We had another doctor appointment this week, and as always everything is going well. We got to see Clover on T.V. again. S/he looked so cute and was waving at us with his/her left hand. I've yet to feel little Clover moving around. All I feel are gas bubbles. I've lost another 2 pounds this month. That makes 9 pounds since the start. This week I've had the worst back ache I've ever had. Of course there is nothing I can do about it but grin and bare it. Clover went to his/her first Blazer game tonight. S/he better get used to it, the blazers lost again! At least we got to sit in the suite so we were comfortable! Well, the big day has been scheduled. We will find out (hopefully) if Clover is a He or a She on Tuesday January 27 at 2:45pm. We are expecting a full house with Randy's parents and Mark and Lexie and Julie. So Clover, you better not disappoint! Just spread um and show us your goods (or lack there of!) Either way there will be many people looking for the money shot! Well, that's it for now; time for this prego back hurting, skin itching, gassy mommy to be to go lay down and get some rest.
