Whats happening with baby this week:
January 15th 2004 - January 21st

Your baby has grown to 14cm crown to rump, or seven inches total length. Adding two ounces in just one week, your baby tips the scales at seven ounces. Your little one is nearly half a pound now and very human looking. Pads are forming on the fingertips and toes, and the eyes are looking forward rather than out the sides of the head. Meconium, the baby's first bowel movement, is accumulating within the bowel. If your baby is a boy, his prostate gland is beginning to develop. If you notice your belly making jerky movements in sync, don't panic; your baby may have the hiccups! Baby's limbs are lengthening and, at last, body length is catching up to head size. Bones are still malleable but are beginning to ossify.

Whats happening with mommy this week:

Well, I apologize for not updating for a while. We started our room change over to make way for baby. We packed up the computer/craft room and painted to get ready for us to move into. So, the computers have been packed up for two weeks now.
We had our ultrasound two weeks ago. So many people were there. Randy's father and sister, our best friend Julie, and my aunt Lexie and Uncle Mark all came to see little Clover perform. Unfortunately little Clover was not in the mood to perform. The best the person doing our ultrasound could tell, Little Clover might be a girl. But she told us not to go out and buy pink just yet. We have another ultrasound on Wednesday Feb 11th. We tried several times to get Clover to turn over so she could get some spine shots but it was a no go. We just can't wait for this little one to come. Boy or girl, just get here!
