Whats happening with baby this week:
April 8th 2004 - April 14th

Your baby weighs three pounds and measures 14 inches from head to toe, or 27cm. Your baby's eyes may now be wide open. He or she may even have hair. The early lanugo is disappearing, the eyelids open and close, and the toenails are growing. The bone marrow is now responsible for red blood cell production

Whats happening with mommy this week:

We had our first child birth class this week. We signed up for 6 two hour classes for the next 6 Monday nights. They are talking to us about how to know when we are in labor, when we need to call the hospital and how to breathe through the contractions. It takes some of the fear and mystery about what is going to be happening to us in just a few short weeks. I can not believe that we are just 2 months away now. They baby has started moving SO much now. She still is a bit shy around daddy. Although, she has given him a few swift kicks! I'm still feeling good, although very tired. This week is a very long week for me. It's tax week. I'm working 54 hours this week. 10 hours Monday and Tuesday, 13 hours Wednesday and Thursday and 8 hours on Friday. All I seem to do is work, eat and sleep. But, this is the last week for overtime so, I'll have lots of time to rest when the week is over!
