— of Applejack Farm A lifetime of wool
experience produces
dense, consistent fiber

Welcome
We are a family with two young, active children. We are located in rural Berks County, near Reading, PA. Gregg is a Math and Physics teacher and Jennie is at home with the children – and farm. Our dream, after some time in suburbia, was to return to the lifestyle we prefer and raise alpacas to support our family with the income they can supply. We both have a lifetime of wool and/or livestock experience. Jennie was raised on a dairy farm and Gregg was raised on the sheep farm where we are currently living.

Our goal is to stay a small to medium-sized alpaca farm to service the local cottage industry. We know from experience that bigger is not always better in farming. With us you get the personal touch and knowledge of dealing with the owners one-on-one. We care for the animals ourselves and plan to keep it that way. We do our own health maintenance, shearing, fence and pasture maintenance, and barn and grounds restoration. Our family is our staff. When you call us, you will get us; and if not, we'll call you back!

Take advantage of our lifetime of livestock experience and our education backgrounds to help guide your alpaca experience.
