The Adventures Of Troop 187

Here are some pictures from our Winter camping trip at Phillippo Scout Reservation in Cannon Falls. Cannon Falls features sliding, football, hiking and exploring.

Our Northwest District Camporee theme this fall was "A D.O.G. of a Camporee". "D.O.G." stands for Dutch Oven Gathering! It celebrates one of the staples of Scout camping, outdoor cooking. We will be having a gathering of Dutch ovens and focusing on the skills of “black pot” cooking. Here are some photos from our Troop at the Fall Camporee at Fred C. Anderson Scout Camp.

High Adventurers this summer returned to Glacier National Park in Montana for a third time. A favorite destination because of its rugged remoteness and stunning beauty, the crew experienced Alpine mountain climbing, mountain goat chasing, glacier river fording and white water rafting. Our annual weeklong trip to Tomahawk Scout Reservation in Rice Lake, WI took place this summer from June 26 - July 3, 2004.

This Fall's District Camporee had the theme - "A Day for the Knights".

For the first time in 25 years, Troop 187 traveled to New Mexico to explore the Philmont National High Adventure Base.

Participating in this trip were Nick, Adam, Ben and Hal with adult leader Pete.

Our first summer High Adventure was a canoe trip along the Kettle and St. Croix Rivers.

Participating in this trip were Jacob, Pete, Hunter, Nick, Jason, Jack, George, Tom, and Zach. Leaders Matt, Pete F. and Bubba.

Our annual weeklong trip to Tomahawk Scout Reservation in Rice Lake, WI took place this summer from June 28 - July 5, 2003.
