Welcome to my Web site!

Let me introduce myself, my stage name is Brother Jeep. The name Jeep was derived from my first initial "G" and my middle initial "P".  Years ago, they called me GP and then Jeep

At the age of 13, I played with my first band, The Buccaneers, which performed on WESA radio station.  Back in the summer of '71, I was introduced to the blues harmonica during my college days.  I've performed with some of the top Pittsburgh bands playing and singing the blues with James King & the Usual Suspects, Sonny "G" & the Blues Peddlers, and Rock, Rhythm and Blues band to name a few.  I teamed up with Gary "V" Smith from Fairchance PA who plays saxophone, bass guitar and vocals.  We also feature Sandra Bennett on percussion originally from Dallas TX, now residing in the Mon Valley. Occasionally, "Tommy Gun" Karol on Sax from Donora, PA joins us and these three make up the MV Express.

Normally, through the course of an evening we perform three 60+ minute show sets. We do a mixture of Rhythm and Blues, paying tribute to the likes of The Temptations, Blues Brothers, Junior Walker and the All Stars, Kool & The Gang,  Four Tops, Wilson Pickett, Eric Clapton, BB King, Otis Redding, Chuck Berry, Louis Armstrong, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Lynyrd Skynrd to name a few. We can perform over 200 songs for your dancing and listening pleasure!  In between our show sets, we play a selection of Oldies, Classic Rock, Doo Wop, Motown, Country and Hip Hop. The music never stops! We have lighting for effects as well as top notch equipment for superior sound.

We can tailor the evening to meet your needs! We can perform with two, three or four members depending on your engagement!  I look forward to hearing from you.  You can reach me at 724-929-5560 or send me an e-mail
