Having cultivated an understanding of its faith, the church must ultimately witness that faith in the world at large.

The GSPC congregation and the church’s Mission Committee are actively engaged in or providing financial support to a wide variety of mission work at the local, national, and international levels.  This mission work attends to the needs of people and spreads the Word of God into the world.

In 2005 GSPC supported:

Local Mission Work - Good News Prison Ministry; the Catherine Foundation; the Samaritan Fund; a Winter Coat Donation Project; and Sheltering the Homeless at GSPC.  

National Mission Work - Rehoboth Christian School in New Mexico.

International Mission Work - American servicemen and women overseas; Notre Maison Orphanage in Haiti; Vienna Christian School in Vienna, Austria; the Children in the Son orphanage in Romania; and the National Capital Presbytery Benevolence Fund.

In 2006 GSPC plans to initiate a joint mission project in Haiti with Peace Lutheran Church of Waldorf.

Through these and other efforts, we try to give evidence of our motto, "We Could Care Less, But We Have Decided to Care More".
