The early worship service is somewhat less formal than the 11:00 service. One or more of the choirs normally participates in the 11:00 service, while the early service is somewhat less elaborate. The second service has a contemporary format that offers modern music in a praise-style worship format. During each service there is a time for sharing individual joys and concerns for prayer during worship and throughout the week. The sacrament of Holy Communion is held at all services on the first Sunday of the month. Each type of service appeals to different tastes, and all are well attended. During the summer the entire church comes together to worship in a single blended service.

Children are a vital part of the life of GSPC and are always welcome at any service. A brief children's sermon is conducted during the 11:00 service (except on communion Sundays), after which a separate Children's Church (grades K-2)  is conducted with worship material and activities suited to the age group.

A nursery is provided for children ages 4 and younger during the 11 am worship service.

An informal time with coffee and refreshments follows the last service so that we might enjoy the fellowship of one another and get to know our visitors.
