During research on the Guittar family, the help of the St. Louis Archdiocese Archive Department was sought as they had microfilm records of the St. Ferdinand Parish (now St. Ferdinand Shrine). A week or so later they came back - "We can't help you right now - your family (Aubuchon, Creely, Guittar and others) - dominate the records and there is just too many for us to assist with right now".
