A FAITH IN THE FUTURE. A BELIEF IN ACTION.

The National Council of Jewish Women is a volunteer organization that has been at the forefront of social change for over a century.

Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW courageously takes a progressive stance on issues such as child welfare, women's rights, and

reproductive freedom.

The Montgomery County, MD Section was founded in 1950 and has several hundred members including women and men.  Our volunteers have a firm tradition of community leadership.  Present services include: Montgomery County Thrift and Consignment Shop, Scholarships, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), Senior Adult Program/Gateways, National Center for Children and Families, The White House, Hebrew Home, JCADA (Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse), YAD B’YAD (Hand in Hand), Manna Food Center, Meals on Wheels, and Children’s Inn at N.I.H.
