Here
are a few guidelines for submitting game summaries
to Soccer Talk.
For the Pee Wee division, make no reference to the
final score of the game, but include the names of
the players who have scored or assisted. Avoid negative
phrases like "shut out" or "blanked".
For all divisions, please make sure to submit a
game summary each week. The kids look forward to
seeing their names in print. Include all players
in the article using their first and last names.
Please write legibly. For the Senior, Novice and
MiniNovice Divisions, please make sure to complete
the top half of the form, listing scorers, assists,
defenders and goalkeepers. This information is very
important for writing the summaries in the local
newspapers and for keeping accurate standings. Also,
if you e-mail the summary to us, make sure to include
this information along with your game summary.
