July 2004 Vacation &William Weiss Reunion
in South Dakota

In July the William Wiess reunion we held at in Radip City, South Dakota. People are quit spread out coming from New Mexico, Washington, Colorado, Minnesota, North Carolina, North & South Dakota, and even from Ukranie. It had been three years since the group was together. With family so spread out we aim to try and get together every three or so years. Kids grow a lot in that time, so it's fun to meet them all again. And of course there are always the memories to reminess over. We all had a great time again this year.

There were lots of pictures of each family, but I'll post this one. It's a picture of everone that was there this year

One afternoon the whole group went to Storybook Island in Rapid. It's full of displays of lot of the storybook characters over several acres of park. A real highlight for the kids.

At the campground there was a area to test your skills like a wall to climb, rope maneuvers, and this "leak of faith".

Yep that's me standing atop a 30 foot pole mustering the courage to jump out and grab that little bar in front of me. I cought the bar, but couldn't hang on - down I went.

Here is a good shot of Kristy making the leap. She was a little short of catching the bar and came to the ground also. Her husbad Adam made it twice - even did some chin-ups on the bar - the show off.

Well this is Mary and I with her folks Don and Joyce, taken the day we were saying goodbye and heading home.
