Kayla was attending Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach, so when Joyce and Nancy came to visit we took a Saturday and ran down and spent it with Kayla. While there we drove around and took in the beautiful sites, of course we had to walk out on the beach and take a look at Haystack Rock.

Nancy spent a lot of her time while Mary and I had to go to work making posters like the one she is pictured here with. They turned out beautiful. She's talking about framing them and hanging them up. |

Nancy was stuck by a car almost a year ago and injuried bad enough that she has not been able to walk without a walker. It has been very hard for her to get around in that it was taking her so long to take a step, move the walker and then step again. Mary and I taught her to lean into the walker and push - keeping the walker moving in front of herself, this allowed her to more than double her speed.
