Summer 2007

Lots of family visited this summer, both on my side and on Mary's side.
Even her sister and family from Ukraine were here.

In May, Lois(my sister), Jim, and Devin Persons came for a fast visit.

One of the highlights was a trip to Seattle to see the sights.

Kristy, Adam and the grandkids also came over for the weekend.

 

Then end of June/1st week of July, James (my brother) spent some time with us.

We went to SeaSide, OR for the 4th of July and then headed to Seattle the next day for sight seeing that included a wonderful sailboat ride on the Pudget Sound.

Near the end of July we had a house full. Roger(Mary's brother), Kendra, and their family were part of a group of 19 spending the weekend at our house.

Thanks to friends we did have a couple of campers parked in the yard for extra sleeping.

Mike, Judy(Mary's sister) and family were home on furlow from Ukraine and spent most of a week with us.

Katya, their foster-child they are hoping to adopt, got to see the ocean up close for the first time when they were here.

Now I'm look'n for a little pitty here!

During the time everyone was visiting in July, I was giving my granddaughter a motorcycle ride in the backyard. We had a slow-speed crash, resulting in me breaking my sholder blade (scapula), right through the joint.

As of now it's at least 3 weeks of no work and looking like this. I do have a new appreaciation for my wife, Mary. Just try to button up a pair of jeans with one hand, or even take a shower!!
