Kevin, Jen and Owen spent New Years 2008 with us.
The day included some clean-up attempt from the wind storm
we had in early December.

Kevin and I, the 4X4 truck, a come-a-long, the garden tractor, a chainsaw, shovels and axes - and... finally the 38 year old stump yielded.

It ended up being a couple of days work.

After a hard days work, a soak in the hot tub was a welcome.

Owen really enjoyed it too - Mom and Grandma thought we let him stay too long. His little butt was pretty red.

Owen and I got along great. He seemed to find my lap every time I sat down.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining in the least.

I labored over posting this, but... this was about 9:00 PM New Year's Eve.

Yep...that's as long as I made it.

Even Kevin announcing in the New Year with the shot gun didn't wake me.
