Sri Vyasa Bhajana Mandali (SVBM) is a group of Dvaitis in the San Francisco Bay-area, which is a West coast chapter of VMS. (Vishwa Madhwa Sangha)
SVBM/VMS started
as a small organisation in 1997 when Shri Shri Sugunendra Theertha
Swamiji First visited California (USA). This Group was formed with the blessings
of Shri Sugunendra Theertha Shrigalu of Puttige Mutt, who has blessed Shri
M.S. SathyaNarayana to lead the Bay Area VMS organization, as the director.
He is also the treasurer of the complete VMS chapter of USA.
SVBM activities include Bhajanas almost every Ekadashi. Most SVBM
Bhajans are conducted at Sunnyvale temple, California.
Apart from Bhajanas SVBM also celebrates almost all the Yathi's and
Haridasa's Aradhana/religious functions with great devotion and enthusiasm.
Every year SVBM/VMS
celebrates Shri Raghavendra Swamy Aradhane in a grand scale serving 1000's
of devotees at Shiva Vishnu Temple of LiverMore. Livermore temple has recognized
this as one of the temple functions of the year.
