Coming
to America
This site, maintained by Charles Harness, features extensive graphics,
including maps and photographs, covers such landmark events as the Revolutionary
war period, including the Indian attacks on the South Branch settlers...conflicts
inspired first by the French and later by the British, that preceded the
war. The site also features a look at the Civil war era, and the involvement
of descendants of Michael Ernst Harness, Sr. on both the Union and Confederate
sides of the tragic conflict.
