Gwyneth was born early in the morning (6:33 a.m.) on Sunday, August 24th, 2003. She weighed 8 lbs, 11 ounces and was 16 inches long. As you might see in the video (if you view it), you will see that she was ready to be with us, and was making a ruckus not more than 2 seconds out of the gate!
We spent a lot of time considering her name, although Hope was a lock for the middle name several months ago. "Hope" comes from a combination of two things: First, it was my Grandma Harrison's maiden name, and secondly we had all but given up "hope" on having a third baby after nearly a year of trying, and conceived Gwyn on our last official month of trying...
