The Hackman Family that settled in Southeastern Pennsylvania originated from Eidberg, a little town in Switzerland. From there they moved to Ibersheim in Germany. In the early 1700's several of the Hackman Families emigrated to Pennsylvania. Some settled in Bucks, Montgomery and Lancaster Counties while others moved on and settled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
The link below takes you to the genealogy of the Hackman Family that settled in Conestoga Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

The information contained within this Web site has been checked with the best resources I have available. Information found on the Internet can be poorly researched and recopied many times. I have attempted to double check with original documents before I included the information in my files. The Web sites for which I provided links, I have found to be of good quality. I would also like to thank C. Donald Moyer who has done extensive research on the Hackman Family in Lancaster, Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. If you find any errors or have questions please E-Mail me at the address below.
