Thanks for stopping by.

Well it's been a while since we last updated the ol' website.  Some things have happened since then.  Let's get you up to date!

The road construction project that caused pain and chaos on our street during the summer of 2004 was finally completed.  This resulted not only in a freshly paved, smooth street, but also a slightly shallower driveway incline - a good thing for the low slung little Miata.  No more fears of leaving half of the exhaust in the street when coming home.

Summer 2004:  You can't get there (or anywhere else, for that matter) from here.

Summer 2005:  Nice and smooth.  Miata claims first neighborhood burn-out on new asphalt!

We also undertook a renovation of Hartz's Toy Box (i.e. the garage!)  No longer a dark, dank storage cave, we now proudly have a structure that actually looks like it could have been designed in the same century as our house.  But, as people are found of saying, it's what's on the inside that counts!  An epoxy-urethane floor coating, fresh paint, and new lighting highlight the center piece - a four post Rotary storage lift.  Life is good!

We also mark the passing of another toy - my 1999 Pontiac Firehawk.  This car was sold in October of 2005.   It was a great car, but it was time to move on to something a little more practical.

But fear not - the replacement is still fun.  Sporty.  Quick.  Just, please, don't call it cute!  It's our new 2006 MINI Cooper S.

Be sure to check out the rest of the site for more information.  My father's 1979 Pontiac Trans Am passed an important milestone - he's now putting parts back ON the car.  We own a dog for 13 days and fail miserably.  Plus I've updated some of my favorite links.  All this and more!  Be sure to check it out.

Until next time,

Hartz
