This site is a high-resolution webcam of the Salt Lake Valley. It is an independent, unfund, ad-hoc project to show particle air pollution effects on visibility in the Salt Lake Valley. We would like to acknowlege Rush Spedden in Sandy UT. for hosting the camera. The camera location is N 40 deg 34.14'; W 111 deg 47.95'; altitude 5215 ft. The bottom of the valley is about 4250'; this can create inversions that are below the camera location.
