Some comments about the book and some sample prayers:

The primary purpose of these prayers is personal spiritual growth. This is not a book to be read; these are prayers to be prayed. Scripture has been rewritten into prayers that ask the Lord to do in us the things He wants and to keep us from things He doesn't want. 

The prayers in this book cover a wide spectrum as you work your way from the Gospel of John through the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Expect to grow as the Lord leads you to pray in areas you had not thought about before.

John Chapter 14

Lord Jesus, keep my heart from being troubled. Work in me so I really believe and trust in You and the Father. Vs 1

Lord Jesus Christ, reveal Yourself to me and make sure I really know You and thus know the Father. Do Your works through me. Vs 10

Jesus, cause me to ask properly in Your name so You can answer my requests and so the Father can be glorified in You. Vs 13

Lord, so work in me that I deeply love You and obey all that You command me to do. Vs 15

Lord Jesus, fill me with Your peace. Don't let my heart be troubled or fearful. Vs 27
