Praying Down the Path of Your Own Life
One of the most powerful ways to pray is to pray God’s word back to Him. These prayers from Proverbs will address most of the issues you will ever face. I wrote these prayers using strong action verbs so you can ask the Father to work powerfully in your life. Before each prayer, I have a thought to help explain the verse or to guide you in your prayer. The comments are normal type and the prayers are in bold. Faithfully praying through this book will allow God to eternally impact your life as He does the things He has promised in His word.

It is so important to depend on God and His wisdom and not on our own brains and abilities.
Father, cause me to trust you with all me heart. Keep me from leaning on my own understanding. Vs 5
When the Lord sees that we are listening to Him and obeying Him, He directs us in everything we do.
Teach me to acknowledge you in everything I do so you can direct my path. Vs 6
People who think they know it all are headed for trouble. Only God can lead us into the good things He has planned for us.
Keep me from thinking I know it all. Cause me instead to fear you and to avoid evil. As I do this, fill me with Your divine health. Vs 7-8
Everything we are or have belongs to God. As we take care of what He has given, He gives us everything we need.
Make me know that everything I have belongs to You and cause me to be a good steward of it. As I give to You, cause me to have everything I need. Vs 9-10
