19th Annual Poker Ride

Dear Riders,
You are invited to the 19th Annual HCRC Poker Ride. Enjoy the New England foliage as this year the 5 or13 mile marked trail ride will wind through the picturesque Hawley State Forest in Hawley MA, on dirt roads and trails bordered by ancient sugar maples and stonewalls. Poker cards will be distributed at select points along the route.
Coffee, cider, donuts and fruit available on arrival with a BBQ and assorted desserts following the ride.
Location: 324 East Hawley Rd. Hawley Center. Parking in field.
Check in: 9 – 10 a.m.
Ride out : 10 a.m.
Ride length: optional 5 or 13 mi. route
Price: HCRC and BSTRA members $20
Non-members $25
$1 of entry towards jackpot for winning poker hand.

Directions: From Northampton MA Take Rt. 9 West to Goshen ,where you will take a right onto Rt. 112 . Proceed to the Rte. 116 intersection on the right side of road in Ashfield where you’ll take a left onto Hawley Rd. When you reach the fork, bear right [still Hawley Rd.], it will turn to gravel. At its end there is a T-intersection. Turn right onto East Hawley Rd. You’ll be opposite the Hawley fire station. Sons and Daughters is a short way up the road located in the Y.
From North take Rt. 2 to Rt. 112 down to Ashfield. At the Rt. 116 intersection take a right onto Hawley Rd. [See above].
From East take Rt. 116 to the Ashfield Rt. 112 intersection. Drive straight through to Hawley Rd. [See above].
