Everything you wanted to know, and maybe some things you didn't…

About Chris

I began drawing at an early age and continued my interest in art throughout high school. In college, my passion turned to Graphic Design where I learned all the traditional techniques of the trade. After receiving my BA in 1992, I realized designers were now using computers to create their work. So, I bought a Mac and taught myself the basics of Photoshop, Illustrator and QuarkXpress and began working for various in-house design departments south of Boston. In the years that followed, I honed my artistic sense and broadened my software skills, adding website design to my repertoire.

Now, fourteen years later, I am an Imaging Supervisor and production artist for a distinguished fashion retail company. I also offer my creative services on a freelance basis.

Please check out my portfolio and resume to see what I've been up to all these years. Or, feel free to contact me and arrange a meeting to find out what I can do for you.

What I Do

Design is effectively communicating a clear message. My focus is understanding my client's needs and designing a clean and simple solution to deliver that message. I won't try and fit you to someone else's mold. Whether it's a logo, brochure or website, I am devoted to finding a solution that is right for you.

How I Work

I meet with my clients to get a complete understanding of who they are, who their competition is and what message they wish to communicate. Three different design concepts are presented and discussed. Comments are assessed and a final design solution is developed. Each assignment is evaluated and quoted at the beginning of the process.

This Site

This site is a creative outlet where I can showcase some of the freelance work that keeps the artist inside me smiling. It also allows me to test out new web tricks that I've learned.

Thanks

Many thanks to my parents for always seeing that I had plenty of paper and crayons as a child. And to my wife and daughter for always being an inspiration and the joy in my life.
