About a "Group Trip"
Castaways Travel is a major supplier of guests, if not the largest supplier of guests to Hedonism Resorts, and has been honored as such. Castaways has buying power and friends in high places. This gives you excellent pricing, and a little something extra on certain weeks - it's called a "host couple". The 4th of July celebration week is our week to be Castaways' host couple. We check your reservations to assure you'll get the proper room category. We hold a get together early in the week for folks to meet and get to know a little about each other. We may also hold a special events on and off the resort if people are interested. We offer advice, our experience, maybe pull a little string with management if justified - all in the name of making your experience at Hedonism II the best possible. You get the excellent price, you get an on-site representative (that's us), you get to meet people, you get to tap into our experience from our many trips to Jamaica and Hedonism II, you get valuable advice if needed, you get a back door to the resort management (if warranted), and best of all you get to go to Hedonism II and party, party, party without feeling like you don't know anyone or anything. Hedonism II fast-trackers, that's kind of what we can be to you.
In our many trips, we've made many friends and love to introduce people to the party. By the way, we don't get into group tee-shirts or funny hats, and if you just want the great price and never see us that's just fine too! We don't have any particular
We are NOT travel agents, nor do we get any compensation for packing in a bunch of bookings - just wanted to make that clear right up front. Yes, we get well taken care of by the resort like the rest of you, but we're there for you if you need us. We make aware of our room number, phone extension, and typically sit on the beach and in the dining room at the same places - in other words you can usually find us quickly if needed. You can also go to the front desk, and they will find us for you! Yep - they know us pretty well there.
The evening parties were so good, it took a while for the beach to fill up - there was one early riser floating in this picture - see her? Nights are terrific 4th of July week, and we all know why....
A little about us...
We're Bob and Sue from Naples, Florida. We've been married 27 years and we have two great sons. We've had the privilege of being anointed a "host couple" by virtue of our many trips to the island of Jamaica. It's a job you fall into, not one you can request. We've logged 29 trips to Jamaica so far, and 26 of those trips have been to Hedonism II. The first time we went to Hedonism II, it was simply to get as far away from civilization as possible. At that time, there were no in-room phones and no televisions. We choose that resort, because a television show said it was a "naughty" kind of place - with a nude beach, and a nude hot tub. Sounded pretty cool, so we checked it out - and it was good - and it has been made better in many ways over the years.
We fell in love with the ambiance of the resort. Hedonism II is truly a lush garden, The staff is wonderful, and hasn't changed much over the years. We've made quite a few friends. We found that being a man and a woman was nice - and much preferred over our U.S.A. titles of "Mom and Dad".
We became regular customers at Hedonism II, and by being such, we were cordially invited to a pre-opening event at the then new resort, known as Hedonism III. It was at Hedonism III, that we met James and Champagne - the owners of Castaways Travel - and soon became fast friends.
Last year at - "The Castaways 4th of July Celebration Week at Hedonism II"
The resort was at full capacity and it was party, party, party time! The Caribbean was just as delightful as one could imagine. The “Lunchtime Spin” was so much fun we wouldn’t let the Entertainment Coordinators stop! Afternoon naptime was provided by brief "liquid sunshine" periods, and gave us the required rest for some high-energy late night parties! The resort is in very fine condition, and the Piano Bar really came to life.
The beach and its heavenly bodies were well decorated for the 4th of July. The marching band was just as awesome as ever. As they played our National Anthem, everyone rose in solemn respect and appreciation of our great country, always an extremely touching moment at Hedonism II. The parade was then assembled and the march of wild and crazy Hedonists was on! Wow, was it ever another fantastic trip to Hedonism II. We'll be parading around naked next year too. Hope to see you there!
Very few examples of things we've done for folks:
(we've reduced names to initials for confidentiality purposes)
R and K wanted to stay a few more days, but the front desk told them there was no room at the inn (seriously overbooked) - after we found out, R and K stayed as they wished. R and K were very happy.
K and M had some issues getting the room category they paid for. K and M ultimately received a letter for 3 free future nights - pretty excellent, considering they only bought 4 to begin with and never had to interrupt their vacation to get the satisfaction they desired. It does happen - people get bumped and end up on the wrong side of the resort or worse - but reserving with a group has privileges - especially if the host couple knows their way around like we do!
A, a very attractive single woman was traveling alone, as she needed a break from life. She hung with us for safety when she thought best, and when a decent guy came around she would flitter away and take a chance. We had a lot of fun hanging out with A, and she met several nice guys, and avoided several jerks.
Several folks have tapped into our knowledge of the "Lifestyling" that often/sometimes/always/never happens at Hedonism II. Castaways guests typically are allowed to go on events with the LT&T group - so if you want to go to Hedonism II in camouflage, but also keep your options open, consider going with us Castaways! We have plenty of knowledge that we've gained - and we'll leave that subject right here.
A couple who are 4th of July regulars like a specific spot to sit on the beach, and we do our best to reserve it for them to make sure they spend the rest of the day exactly where they want to be!
There is much, much, more. Some of which cannot be placed in print here - because often "what happens in Jamaica, stays in Jamaica"
We don't mind speaking to you on the phone or conversing via email... Contact us if you would like to be part of our group. Also keep in mind that if you already made a reservation with Superclubs, it can be easily changed at no cost to a Castaways reservation under many circumstances - just ask how!

See you on the beach!
Let's hope you see this check-in desk in a few weeks...
Below is an email we recently received and my response - I think that it addresses a particular concern that many first time Hedonism II travelers have, but are afraid to ask in such a simple, straight forward manner. I thank the couple who sent the email, because it will help many others like them.

Bob and Sue,
We are nudist but have never been with a swinger group. At what level would we be expected to participate at Hedonism II? Would we be expected to have intimate contact with others to join the group?
TY,

Our reply....

First of all, only a percentage of guests at Hedonism II are swingers, and that percentage varies widely from none to almost everyone. Usually (and this is just my opinion) the percentage is about 40-50%. During the July 4th week that we host for Castaways, I would guess the percentage could be as high as 75-85%. This is simply due to the fact that there will be a large "Lifestyles" group also at the resort at that time. The folks who run the Lifestyles group respect and are very friendly with the Castaways Travel agency owners. Many "lifestylers" use Castaways for their worldwide clothing optional vacations, and some "Castaways" are/or become "Lifestylers" and may go on specific events sponsored by the Lifestyles folks.
"Group" trips typically offer better pricing, and the clout of having a "host couple" like us who can make problems go away while you vacation. Some group trips are intended specifically for "swingers" - however ours is not, we are a group trip for everyone and have no opinions about much - except that our intention is to relax and have fun. The July 4th week is one of several exceptional weeks of the year at Hedonism II.
To specifically answer a particular point of your email -> A true (normal everyday) swinger would NEVER "expect" to have any contact with others. Such expectations are simply not part of the proper world of Lifestyling/Swinging. I would highly suggest that you do some research on swinging and the acceptable rules and behavior of that lifestyle. One of the first rules is: No means no. Therefore NOTHING is ever expected, coerced, demanded, so fourth and so on.
In the past, I've known many guests with our "group" have chosen to travel with Castaways because they were simply curious about the swinging/lifestyling that might occur. Some of our guests have crossed into that world, while others have not. It really isn't any of our business - but we sometimes find out for whatever reason and all of this would be confidential anyway.
Have you visited our webpage, where we tell a little about us, and the "group trip"? If not, please go to: http://home.comcast.net/~hedonists/
Just some information for you:
Nudists are certainly welcome at Hedonism II, but keep in mind some "swingers" think nudists are weird since children are often allowed at nudist resorts. Conversely, "nudists" often think swingers are weird for even considering sexual relations with someone outside of their marriage. I hope you can see the difference in viewpoints, and I'm simply providing info - not endorsing either choice. Many of us are simply at the resort to relax and get a tan!
I hope I have answered your question, but please feel free to ask more. Also feel free to comment on anything I've conveyed that you feel is inaccurate from your perspective.
Thanks for the excellent question - it is one which many want to know, but don't often come straight to the point as you have.
Bob
