On the morning of October 9th, 2005, a flash
flood swept through the town of Alstead, NH, taking 4 lives, leaving 50 families
homeless, damaging the homes of many others, cutting away miles of roadway, and
leaving a gash that split the town in two. Alstead is a town of strong people
with big hearts who are accustomed to helping others and doing for themselves.
But this is a burden that weighs heavier than one might expect a town to bear on
its own. Below are a few ways you can
contribute to the relief efforts for the people of Alstead. You can see pictures
