Below is Rose & Waldo
Stevens' stone (on the left) along with their footstones. There
are 3 footstones because their son (it's either Clyde or Nile, I don't remember
which) is buried in this plot too. This plot is in the North Springfield, Vermont,
cemetery.

Below is Olin
Stevens and Jennette Marston's gravestone. Myfolks
didn't know this stone existed until we visited it on Friday. The stone was covered in moss
which we scraped as well as we could in order to read the inscriptions. My
folks'll be going back to give
it a real cleaning. Following Olin's and Jennette's names is the inscription "Duette A. June 21, 1865
- Jan. 2 1870". This plot is also in the North Springfield, Vermont,
cemetery. As you face this stone, Rose and Waldo's stone is about 80 yards to
the right and down the slope.

Below is Leonard and Mary Warren's gravestone.
Two
others who are buried in the plot we presumed to be Leonard's wives before and
after Mary, Lucia and Sarah. This plot,
also in the North Springfield cemetery, is a plot or two to the left of Olin
Stevens/Jennette Marston's. My folks learned of this stone's existence from a
newly-discovered relation who visited them recently.

For this next stone you have to drive to the Springfield
Cemetery and we wouldn't have found it if we hadn't been looking for Connie's
grandmother's stone. Edson
Covey and Abbie Reed, Frank Covey's parents are buried here. In this plot are
also two of Edson's and Abbie's daughters, Gertie and Bertha (known in Irene's
diaries as Aunt Gertie and Aunt Bertha).

I took a shot of my dad with this stone. You can see the four
footstones, too.

And just down the path from Edson and Abbie, also in the Springfield Cemetery, is where Gladys and Albert Howe
and Ransom and
Kate Covey all share a plot, and here is it complete with
footstones. Gladys and Ransom were siblings of Gertie and Bertha, children of
Edson and Abbie Covey. In the diaries, Irene refered to them in her diaries as
Aunt G&A [I love how she lumped them together under the title of
"Aunt".], and Uncle Ranny and Aunt Kate.
We can thank Judy for sending us the following pictures from
Florida. Below is the headstone of Frank
and Minnie Covey. You can find it in the old Roselawn Cemetary
in downtown Lakeland.

And here is the gravestone of Frank and Minnie's daughter and
her husband -- Reta and Pat Gordon. This stone, and the
remaining stones you see after it, are in Oakhill Burial Park located outside
the city limits of Lakeland on the Bartow Hwy.

Reta and Pat's daughter, Gladys Gordon Poe:

And Glen and Judy's sons, Randy and Ricky Gordon:

Below is an old burial marker in the Ancient Burial Grounds in Hartford,
Connecticut. This stone may or may not mark the grave of Gov. William Leete,
from the Stevens family line.
