1910 In the U.S. Census for 1910, Walter J Simino, age 18 years, is listed as living at home in Swanzey NH with his parents (Eugene A, 48 years, and Lilla B, 38 years) and brother, Clayton E (16 years) and sister Gertrude L (14 years) 1917 Swanzey town report lists his occupation as 'pail maker' 1920 U.S. Census: Walter J Simino, age 26 years, head of household, married to Maud A Simino age 24 years. Child Alton W, 6 years, and "Lilla D" age 3 years. It doesn't list the town, just Cheshire County. 1920 report of Swanzey officers lists property of 1 horse valued at $125, on which he paid $5.75 in taxes. His father, Eugene, is listed as having Land and buildings valued at $300 and a horse valued at $50; he paid $10.70 in taxes. 1921 report of Swanzey town officers lists 1 horse at $35 and 1 cow at $50; paid $7.04 in taxes. His father Eugene's land and buildings are listed again, valued at $300 and he paid $12.20 in taxes. In this report he is listed as a 'teamster'. In 1934, the road agent for the town of Alstead paid "Walter Simeno" $5.00 for "labor" and $19.60 for "teams".
