I paper[ed] kitchen back of stove like brick – Too tired to write - January 2 Fri 6” snow 30ºA+24ºP.M. meeting – Had to pull jeep with tractor A.M. wires wet. Son + Jo up while – Son ate lunch + shoveled snow. Ray had jeep fixed – I finished up stairs + made pu?? Wrote P.M. [The word “pu??” is smudged – I can’t make out what it says. –HQ] January 3 Sat 32ºA + 27ºPM – Sun + warm all day Washed – Son + Chas. Hunted – Clyde, Son + John for supper. T.V. + games after. Took shower mended + baked – Thanks for all. January 4 Sun 26ºA+18ºP.M. Nice am but cold + windy P.M. Ines + Nile came for dinner – All to Church – snowed so Ines left early.
