We will make a barrel of potpourri that has the aroma and feel of a
Michigan upper peninsula woods. The recipe is one of the instructor's
favorites and everyone will take home a bag of what we make. She will also
give each student a packet of her favorite potpourri recipes she considers
her treasures. Learn where to find all ingredients necessary (the
outdoors, gardens, kitchen and the grocery store). Bring snug fitting
medical exam gloves. |

This scented ball is made of twisted twigs to hang in the middle
of the door arch. We will stuff this ornament full of moss, red New
Hampshire berries, whole cloves, miniature pine cones and delicate
cinnamon sticks for country rustic charm. It will hang from a satin
ribbon with satin bow. Bring newspaper, scissors and a glue gun. |

You will learn how to make a beautifully aromatic pomander to take
home and hang for the holidays. We will use sweet Seville oranges,
California cloves and sleek satin ribbon. Pomanders are also cozy gifts
that last for years. Only have to bring a smile, newspaper, and a glue
gun. |

You will roll two balls into fragrant spiced rum potpourri (made from the
instructor's Michigan gardens). Then we will add satin ribbons and criss-cross
with cinnamon sticks, tiny dried orange peel and star anise. The scent will last
for months. Super gift! Bring newspaper and scissors.
