Waysons Corner

In 2006, developers proposed two projects in the Waysons Corner area that would have had broad and negative impacts on the National Estuarine Research Reserve at Jug Bay, the Patuxent River, and the Chesapeake Bay. Anne Arundel County acted quickly to protect those key environmental assets by purchasing the site in May, 2007.
