Pawtucket-based, Harmony Heritage women's a cappella
chorus, is a diverse group of over 30 women all ages and walks of
life from many communities throughout the southern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island
area.
Harmony Heritage, now in its 8th year, performs throughout
Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts at festivals, sporting
events and social activities.
Many chorus members have a long history of performing music in keeping with the style of barbershop music.
Several chapter members are charter members of the parent
organization,
Harmony,
Incorporated, established in 1959, in Providence. Harmony
Heritage chartered in January, 2001 - a merger of The Harmonettes of Attleboro, MA and Rhode Island Sound of Cranston,
RI. The chorus enjoys singing and
performing a variety of music from standards to gospel songs to
more modern pieces.
Harmony Heritage enjoys traveling to and competing
in our area contest each year
in April, working toward qualification for the international
contest in November.
The chorus meets every Tuesday night at
St.Paul's Church,
50 Park Place
in Pawtucket, RI. We welcome visitors and new members at all
times. For more information, directions or a
