Neuspeed 27mm Front Anti-roll Bar Installation The front anti-roll bar is probably something you would not really need on your daily driver. I would usually recommend just a rear anti-roll bar, however, if you seriously flog your Passat or race/autocross your car, you might consider a front bar to facilitate the handling characteristics. INSTRUCTIONS: This is simply a rewrite of the original instructions. I did not take pictures at the time I installed my own bar since it was the very first modification I had performed on the car and I did not have a camera handy at the time. 1. Remove the two plastic desus clips on each front fender well, just in front of the tire. Remove the 10mm nut at the front of the belly pan, and 5 metal desus clips. Remove the belly pan. 2. Spray WD-40 (or equivalent) on the ball joint stud at the sway bar endlinks. Use two 16mm (or 5/8") wrenches to remove the endlink lock nuts. 3. Remove sway bar bushing clamps using a 13mm wrench on the hex lock nuts. 4. Install the Neuspeed sway bar using the bushings supplied. in reverse of disassembly. Don't forget to use the silicon grease at each bushing where the bar comes in contact. 5. Carefully double check complete installation, tightness of ALL nuts and bolts and test drive carefully!
