Directions to Max’s Downtown

From i-84 Westbound
Take exit 50 (Main Street) - go straight to the third light and turn left onto Trumbull Street. Continue to the fourth light and turn right onto Asylum Street. Max Downtown is one block down on the left.

From i-84 Eastbound
Take exit 49 (high street) - go straight to the third light and turn right onto Trumbull Street. Continue to the third light and turn right onto Asylum Street. Max Downtown is one block down on the left.

From i-91 Southbound
Take exit 32b (Trumbull Street) - go straight for eight lights and turn right onto Asylum Street. Max Downtown is one block down on the left.

From 1-91 Northbound
Take exit 29a (Capitol Area) - travel under the overpass bearing right as you exit to go around Bushnell Park. Do not follow the rotary. At your first intersection, take a right onto Trumbull Street. Proceed two lights and take a left onto Asylum Street. Max Downtown is one block down on the left.

From New York City
follow i-95 to New Haven then take i-91 north and follow directions above.

From Boston
Follow the mass pike (i-90) west to Sturbridge then take i-84 west and follow directions above.

Directions to the CityPlace garage and then into Max Downtown

Follow directions to the front door of the restaurant then take your first left onto Haynes Street. At the stop sign, take another left onto Pearl Street; the entrance to the CityPlace Garage is on your left.

Once you are in the garage, take the elevator up to the lobby level. Take a left out of the elevator into the CityPlace atrium. Take another left and walk straight ahead. The tavern entrance of Max Downtown is on your left.
