His Will left the family Bible to daughter, Mary.Others mentioned in the Will were daughter, Elizabeth, and herhusband, Josiah King, sons, Charles, John, Henry, and Andrew,daughters, Nancy, Bathsheba, Martha, Susan, Lucinda and Caroline,along with wife, Sarah.  James and Allen Highsmith were namedCo-Executors and Riley Johns was a witness.  He left 2,000 acres ofland in Camden and Wayne Counties.

Jacob HIGHSMITH [Parents] 1 was born 1765 in Pitt Co., NC. He died 1829 in Wayne Co., GA and was buried in Highsmith Emetery, Brantley, GA (unmarked). Jacob married Sarah (HIGHSMITH).

He was a Revolutionary War soldier, serving in North Carolina.  His widow drew land as a widow of a RW soldier in the Cherokee Land Lottery of Georgia.  The family moved from Pitt County, NC to Tattnall Co., GA soon after the creation of Tattnall.  They resided there a few years before moving on to Wayne Co.

Sarah (HIGHSMITH) was born 1 before 1770. She married Jacob HIGHSMITH.

She is shown in 1830 census as the head of household, living near William Highsmith and David Highsmith.  She had three grown children living with her, 1 male (age 20-30), 1 female (age 15-20), and 1 female (age20-30).

Soon after his wife Elizabeth's death in 1835, Littleberry along with sons, Elias, Ansel, David, Andrew and Westberry moved to Columbia County, FL.

Littleberry tried for Revolutionary pension in 1850. Says served one year as private in Capt. William West's company of militia and that he was drafted into the service in Liberty County, GA. Pension rejected.
