Roger Vern Chapman, 65, of Brunswick died Monday at his residence. (12/3/2001)
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chapel Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Hurst officiating. Pallbearers are Mack Carter, Roy Green, Jimmy Hodges, Tony Lockhart, Harold Grooms and Morris Drury. Honorary pallbearers are the retired employees of Allied Chemical-LCP. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chapman Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church building fund.
Surviving are his mother, Avie Chapman of Brunswick; son, Jeff Chapman of Brunswick; daughter, Karen Chapman of Brunswick; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A native of Brantley County, Mr. Chapman lived in Glynn County most of his life. He was retired from Allied Chemical Corp. with 34 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict.
