Death of Mrs. Wilder We regret to chronicle the sad death of Mrs. Minnie Wilder, which occurred at her home at Broadhurst on the 7th day of October about 8 o’clock p.m. God in his wisdom saw best to take this valuable citizen from our midst and transplant her in a home not made with hands eternal in the heavens. Mrs. Wilder was 42 years of age, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Westberry. She was married 27 years ago to Mr. W. C. Wilder. Two sons, Hugh and Theodore were born to this happy couple. She was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Wilder was sick about eight weeks, part of which time was spent in Dr. Roger’s Sanitarium, having been taken there by her faithful physician, Dr. Gordon. The writer is well aware of the fact that all has been done that could be done to restore this good lady to her natural health, but it was God’s will and not ours and we feel that our loss is her eternal gain. Mrs. Wilder was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church, having united there when she was 15 years old. She was a faithful member and a Christian woman. She was laid to rest in Little Creek Cemetery and funeral services being conducted by her pastor, Rev. E. L. Litt. May the spirit of God be with the bereaved relatives.
