Dillon’s Animal Sitting is dedicated to the overall safety and well-being of your animals (large and small).

Worrying about your animals while away from home is unnecessary stress when you can rely on a proven, responsible professional. Service areas: South Thurston and North Lewis counties. Includes, but not limited to: Yelm, Rainier, Tenino, Bucoda, Centralia, Chehalis.

Basic service: one hour, at-home visit. The hour starts upon arrival, includes mileage and updates to you via phone or e-mail at whatever schedule you prefer.

• Base rate (small animals): $19.50 for a 30 minute visit + mileage*
• Base rate (large animals): $29.50 for a 45 minute visit + mileage*

All visits are planned to maintain and ensure the following:

• Regarding your animals:
  • Safety and Security. Visually ensure that all animals are behaving normally both standing still and moving. Confirm that all enclosures are in good working order.
  • Clean, fresh water. Provide and refresh daily.
  • Appropriate food on current feeding schedule. Visually confirm healthy appetities.
  • Administer medications as needed.
  • Clean surroundings. All poop scooped daily.
  • Mental and physical exercise provided as appropriate. For a dog, this might include a nice long walk, a game of fetch, or a review of basic obedience commands.
  • Affection. And lots of it! This could include a good brushing session for a horse, a massage for a dog or a short nap in a lap for a cat. All animals receive one-on-one attention and affection (as time allows) to the extent they desire it.
• Regarding your home and surrounding property:
  • Safety and security. Visual inspection of inside/outside of home, outbuildings, fences, and pasture.
    • Mail and/or paper collected.
    • Doors and windows in home confirmed to be secure.
    • Open/close drapes and turn on/off lights to mimic your presence.
  • Regular maintenance.
    • Water plants.
    • Set garbage or recycling bins out.

If you would like the additional security of having someone stay at your house while you are away, overnight services are available. Overnight stays include a PM visit and an AM visit (see description above). Depending upon your animals' schedule, this generally works out to be 6pm to 7am.

• Overnight sessions are $84.50 per day.
