The Colonial Assembly, historic dancers

 

Spend an evening in early Federal America, listening to the music owned by Thomas Jefferson and seeing the dances that he knew.  Jefferson collected the best in European and American music.

 

Members of the Colonial Assembly will perform Minuets and other dances in Period Costumes.

 

The program includes Campioni's Trio Sonata No. 4, selections from Handel's Water Music, Dr. Arne's Lyric Harmony, Scots Songs by Bremner, the comic opera Love in a Village, The Laurel and more.
