Ann Butler, daughter of James, was christened on April 7, 1816
at Bottisham, England. The date of her birth is not presently known. The date and place of
her death are presently unknown. However, it appears that she died prior to 1861.
Ann married at Bottisham, England on December 15, 1833 to William Fletcher. Witnesses to
their marriage were Thomas Fletcher and Ester Eaton. He was born about 1810 at Bottisham,
England. Presently William"s parentage, exact date of birth, date and place of death are
unknown. He was an agricultural laborer.
From various sources, it appears that Ann and William had ten children. The family lived
at 57 Lode Street in the Hamlet of Lode, England. All the children were born in the
Bottisham-Lode area.
- William Fletcher was christened on October 16, 1834. He apparently died prior to 1838.
- Hannah Fletcher was christened on February 28, 1836. She apparently died prior to 1847.
- William Fletcher was christened on June 10, 1838.
- John Fletcher was christened on February 9, 1840.
- James Fletcher was born about 1842.
- King William Fletcher who was christened on October 6, 1844. He married on September 24, 1867
at Bottisham, England to Mary Ann Flack, daughter of Richard Flack and Elizabeth Pollendine.
In 1871, King William and Mary Ann lived on Mill Road in the Hamlet of Lode.
He was an agricultural laborer. King William was a general laborer in 1881. It is interesting
to note that in both the 1871 and 1881 British census returns no children were listed in
their household.
King William and Mary had at least one child.
- Thomas John Fletcher was christened on April 8, 1869 in private ceremony at Bottisham,
England.
- Hannah Fletcher was christened on April 1, 1847.
- George Fletcher was christened on August 5, 1849. He apparently died prior to 1851.
- George Clements Fletcher was christened on October 5, 1851.
- Samuel Craske Fletcher was christened on February 17, 1854.
