Veronique Gruss and Frantz Antoine Deckert's Family

Veronique Gruss, daughter of André, was baptized in the Catholic Church at Fessenheim, France on March 21, 1720. She died on April 17, 1772 at Blodelsheim, France. She was buried in the local cemetery on April 18, 1772.

Veronique married on January 21, 1738 at Blodelsheim, France to Frantz Antoine Decker, son of Adam Deckert and Catherine Renner . Antoine was born on January 24, 1714 at Blodelsheim, France and died there on May 10, 1785. Antoine was a farmer by profession.

Veronique and Antoine had seven children, all of whom were born in Blodelsheim, France and baptized in the Catholic Church there.

1. Jean Michel Deckert was baptized on August 30, 1740.
2. Anna Maria Deckert was baptized on July 12, 1743.
3. Catharina Deckert was baptized on August 13, 1745.
4. François Joseph Deckert was baptized on July 16, 1742. He died prior to 1754.
5. Veronica Deckert was baptized on December 14, 1749. She died prior to 1752.
6. Veronica Deckert was baptized on October 14, 1752. She married on February 14, 1774 at Blodsheim, France to Xavier Schmitt.
7. François Blaise Deckert was baptized on September 8, 1763.
