Jacob Hennes, son of Mathias, was born on January 24, 1813 at Ernzen, Germany. He was baptized the same day in Saint Mark's Catholic Church. His godparents were Jacob Classen and Catherine Malampre. Jacob died on December 24, 1892 at Ernzen, Germany. He was buried there on December 27, 1892. His burial registration reported that he was eighty years of age at the time of his death. Jacob was mentioned in the baptismal registration of his niece, Margaret Hennes, daughter of Peter Hennes.
Jacob married on January 26, 1842 in Saint Mark's Catholic Church at Ernzen, Germany to Maria Schramer. It appears that Maria died prior to 1870. Witnesses to their marriage were Valentine Deutsch and Bernard Welter.

Although it is not mentioned what te dispensation was for, it appears to have been from the traditonal three announcements of banns. Nicholas was from Niedersgegen, Germany.
