I was in the White Eagle Tavern on Saturday night, and the owner told us that he had just sold it, to McMenamin's.

I'm not sure if you are still exploring the ghosts of North Portland thing, but I thought you might be interested.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens when McMenamins takes it over and starts restoring it.

McMenamins is a local brewery. They have been buying up Taverns around the area in large numbers. Looks like The White Eagle is latest takeover.
