This web site is devoted to REAL country music - not the country-pop-rock heard on most so-called "country music" stations today. Here you will find the wonderful honky tonk sounds of the 50's and 60's. Although the artists featured will be the stars of the day, many songs from albums, flip sides, and uncharted material will be featured, so some of the titles may be less familiar (or even unfamiliar) to you. The site is organized as follows:
JUKEBOXES 1 & 2 contain traditional country tunes and are updated every three weeks.
OPRY STAR SPOTLIGHT contains tunes by a featured artist and is updated every 4-6 weeks.
TOP COUNTRY SINGLE features the #1 tune on today's date each year from 1950-1965.
JUKEBOX FAVORITES contains a year-by-year archive of both sides of favorite country singles.
